System Overview
How a Bevchek telemetry install fits together, end to end.
The chain
Sensors → Hub → Comnode → Bevchek cloud
- Sensors measure the physical world — temperature, flow, pressure, current, humidity, door state. Each sensor plugs into one hub port on its 3m cable (extendable to 30m).
- Hubs collect sensor readings:
- Mini-Hub — WiFi, 8 ports, onboard humidity + temperature sensing.
- Main Hub — POE Ethernet, 16 ports, onboard temperature sensing.
- Comnodes carry hub data out of the building over cellular, so the
system doesn't depend on venue internet:
- POE Comnode — cellular uplink, 3 ports for Main Hubs.
- WiFi Comnode — cellular uplink for WiFi-connected hardware.
- Bevchek cloud turns the readings into monitoring, alerts, and reports.
Power and connectivity checklist
- One 110v plug per Control Hardware component (hub or comnode).
- Main Hubs connect to a POE Comnode over Ethernet; Mini-Hubs ride WiFi.
- Count your ports before the truck roll: 1 port per sensor unless the sensor's page says otherwise (the Combi-Sensor needs 3).
